UAE – Mubasher: The consumer price index (CPI) in the emirate of Abu Dhabi declined by 1.1% during July, according to a report released by the Statistics Centre of Abu Dhabi (SCAD).
Abu Dhabi’s CPI reached 110.4% in July, compared to 111.6% in June.
On a yearly basis, Abu Dhabi’s CPI decreased by 1.4% by the end of July to 110.4%, from 112% in July 2018.
Housing, water, electricity, and gas and other fuels contributed to the overall decline by 166.6% during the period between January and July.
As for the transport group, prices decreased by 6%, contributing to an overall decrease in CPI of 131%, the report showed.
